SUMMARY:

TOURS TO THE UROS ISLANDS – AMANTANI – TAQUILE AND CHULLPAS OF SILLUSTANI (2D/1N)

In this adventure of 2 days and 1 night we will visit the most important islands on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca, these are the Uros Islands, Amantani and Taquile, doing experiential tourism with the inhabitants of these islands. Then we will visit the CHULLPAS DE SILLUSTANI where the Umayo Lagoon and the Inca and Pre-Inca Tombs are located.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1:

Pick up from your hotel in Puno, then head to the port and embark on a motorboat to the floating islands of Uros. We will visit 2 islands before heading to Amantaní Island. There, families will welcome us with a delicious local lunch, and we'll settle into our rooms with the families.

Later, we'll have a walk to the highest point of the island: Cerro Pachamama or Pachatata. Return and dinner at the family house.

DAY 2:

Departure from the Amantaní Port to Taquile. Upon arrival at Taquile Island, we'll walk to the main square of the main town, then enjoy lunch on Taquile. Return to Puno, then to the port around 15:45h approx.

Our private driver will then take us to the famous Sillustani Chullpas, approximately 1 hour away. Here, we will appreciate the Umayo lagoon and explore the Inca and pre-Inca tombs.
